
Grounds Admission
A Grounds Pass gives you access to the hiking trails, public beach area, gardens, public grounds, and the Mary Belin duPont Laird orientation gallery and Stratford at the Crossroads exhibit in the Visitor Center. The pass does not include admission to the Great House and other historic buildings. The Visitor Center, Gift Shop, and Great House are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. (Access to the gift shop does not require a grounds ticket).
Grounds passes are valid from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the date of purchase. Please be prepared to show your order confirmation email upon arrival and while enjoying the grounds.
Stratford Hall's Visitor Center and Grounds will be closed Monday, May 11, 2026 for staff appreciation.
Grounds Policies
Stratford Hall grounds are only accessible during posted business hours. No admittance prior to 10 a.m. or after 5 p.m.
Fishing is allowed at the mill pond, but not the beach. Prior to fishing, a fishing release must be signed and can be acquired at the Visitor Center. The launching of any watercrafts from the Stratford Hall beach or mill pond is prohibited.
Swimming and/or deep wading is not allowed at the beach.
No grilling or fires allowed on premises.
Grounds passes offers access to the public beach. Visitors are not permitted beyond the rope barriers. If you are interested in Stratford Hall's paleontology program and would like to know more about our fossil excursions please visit our Paleontology page.

Visitor Center and Grounds: Daily 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Great House Audio Tours: Wednesday - Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (last tour at 4 p.m.)
Gift Shop: Wednesday - Friday 12 p.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday - Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (no admission fee required)
